That was great. Nigel even had his own 'Spinal Tap' moment when his lead
packed up during the mandolin solo. Maybe it was planned, but it didn't seem
like it.
I was a bit miffed that the Beeb cut away from them to show something else
at one of the other concerts, and only showed the very end og Big Bottom
with the massed choir of bassists. The same as they cut away from Metallica
just as Enter Sandman was starting. Grrr. They managed to show the earlier
acts sets in their entirity, but so why not the bigger names that people
really wanted to see, I mean, everyone has been banging on all day about
wanting to see the mighty Tap, and they bloody cut away.
Maybe to save it for the DVD?
