Re: Easy blues guitar solos?

Well, the way to avoid having to walk on eggshells is to keep the bastards in the box, and stop throwing them around.

By the way, it's not acceptable to post to more than one newsgroup
at a time. It's called cross-posting. Don't ask me why, but you
could find loads of grumpies coming down on you like a tonne of bricks.

Making what could be construed as a negative remark and then saying it's a joke straight afterwards doesn't always eliminate any offence caused.

For Christ's sake... get a life!!!

That is possibly one interpretation, but it might be more appropriate
not to assume so. Any remark can
be construed to mean whatever you want, if you *really* want. There are
options available and there is no compulsion to take the worst view, almost
without fail. No one knows that more than you Steve, I suspect.

It might be a nice idea to try and take things at face value for once.

The "grumpies" ensure that you can post your comments in a reasonably on-topic and civilised forum.

Acknowledged already elsewhere.

Another point worth raising at this juncture is the way you can never
discuss your own products without having a snide dig at someone else's.

Never? I don't very often talk about my products here in any great detail unless asked. Now if anything is snide, that accusation really was.

It's fairly true that I don't like the majority of competitive products
to mine... Err, that's why I do what I do, so at least I can have what I
want.

I don't personally like outright 'rock' music very much and the market place
is flooded with 'rock' products. I largely work with alternative forms
of music. So forgive me if I don't exactly relate to common 'rock'
gear. There are oodles of other folk who are like minded, thank Christ.

This may come of a bit of a surprise Steve, but often, very often, I
support what you say. However, there is a side
to you which many might recognize as being, very occasionally, a bit
twisted. The Alpha male just popped his head out to flex his mussels again.

I don't know why you bother Steve... unless it's for some kind of
sadistic sport. Or do you just have to be Top Man? It's a shame,
because you do seem quite level headed and logical most of the time.

You know Steve, *no one* will ever control what anyone posts here. And my
post are quite harmless. If you don't like what I write, ignore it or
block it. That's really the best anyone can do.

There was a chance here to calm things down between 'some' of us; and
you just threw it away in an attempt to prolong the clear ill feeling
that exists on UKMG between a few of us.

Enter the cavalry? This is gonna be a Mother of a thread now...
again... yawn!! Sadly, I've got better things to do and I won't be around
to see it for a while. It's just sad that all the other nice people who
frequent UKMG have gotta put up this kind of silliness. Never mind, eh?

You have the opportunity to change things Steve. Do the right thing.
