Damn.

I always enjoyed Eric's pieces in guitar mags.

A friend of mine spoke to him a lot a few years ago regarding Nick Drakes's
work and found him charming.

Another friend played at some of the same gigs as him and found him
charming.

A great loss.

I ordered the "For Eric" CD last week when I learned that he was in a
hospice. I suspect Eric played for the love of the instrument rather than
for financial gain, and as such I worry that his family may be struggling.
Buy the CD folks - I can't wait for my copy to be delivered!
