The Swedish is probably:

När jag var liten, jag låg å (och) täntke . . .

When I was small, I lay and thought . . .

That said, I don't know any Swedish song with those lyrics. Do you
have any other fragments from the original?

It was given to an English speaker by a Swede, but as we acknowledge,
it may be Norwegian.

The highly garbled translation given was :-

When I was little I used to think
that those who I loved (or those who loved me, as I say garbled)

And the Swedish in phonetic form:-

Nair yer vo leeten
Doh yeek yag oh tenkta (surely it should be 'tenke')
Dem som yor elsker
yor aldrig kan för

at menga leeva leeka loostit
oh yo hunger oh traler
Din ya ...Yo, yo of folk songs.

'OH' is surely 'å'
