Which is basically what I said. Except that my O/S is even older. I.E. 5.2
won't work with OS 9.2.2 only 5.1.7 It won't even work with the first
versions of O/S X dual Classic from 2003.
Even if I had switched O/S 3 years ago it still would not have worked with
the system without multiple upgrades. With me it's not the O/S but all the
other stuff to go with it - Quark Xpress, Photoshop, MS Office Pro etc which
is the bind.
I think it's a great idea - just it's a little difficult to be totally
enthusiastic about something one can't actually access - and I suspect many
others besides. (To patronising poster citing *whinging*)
Anyone with an older Apple Mac running Mac Classic O/S up to 9.2.2 and not
O/S Xxx will not be able to download a compatible browser to access your
lovely site and use it. The latest browsers are all designed for Macs which
are 2 years old or less.
Though it all pisses me off immensely, I've also got a new PC running WinXP
- (hate the damned thing) so maybe I'll have to get it connected with a new
broadband modem now.
