That has to be worth a try - a virtual asbo.
Why only virtual?
The definition of anti-social behaviour under the Crime and Disorder
Act 1998 is that it is 'behaviour likely to cause alarm, harassment or
distress to members of the public not of the same household as the
perpetrator'.
I'm probably going to Canada next year for a while. Will that make me
not of the same household as uk.misc readers?
The police didn't suggest an asbo when they talked to me about my
faxing MPs. They talked about arrest under some telecommunications
act, but not asbos. Those poor victimised politicians. I feel so sorry
for them. Imagine the stress of receiving one fax a week, when it's
paid for by the state anyway.
Maybe the MPs didn't complain about the millions of posts to usenet.
You really disrupt my enjoyment of usenet. You cause me stress when I
have to refilter your messages because they clog up my newsreader.
It's annoying and frustrating.
Canada? Don't care where you are. I think you should be banned from
using usenet.
