My provider only gives me 10Mb of webspace. I am on broadband 512 at £14.99.
Any better offers around?
Yep. Loads. You can find them using any search engine.
I know, I know, I'm looking for recommendations.
You aren't giving sufficient detail of what you require. There are any
number of US based hosting companies that do free or dirt cheap deals for
massive amounts of webspace. However what matters is whether your
priorities are good bandwidth, reliability, security, cgi access, cost
etc.
I want what I have at a similar price, but which gives me more webspace for
a personal website. The size is important only because it is mainly photos
and I have run out of space.
I would prefer it to be the same isp that I use for my mail, just because
it's easier and since I have been shunted several time by isps which have
gone down the pan or changed owner, I would prefer someone who is going to
exist the week after tomorrow. Obviously NOT AOL.
http://freespace.virgin.net/mr.jimscott will show you the type of simple
site involved.
