I always thought I was just imagining this (maybe I still am...) but if I
pause live TV for a while then start watching it will the recording run
slightly faster than real time to catch up with live TV again?

I did this the other day after and I check the time difference occasionally
- it started off at 45 minutes behind, then when I checked later it was only
30 minutes behind live TV?

If it really is catching up, I can't tell the difference!

Did you fast forward through some adverts? Cold have been a subconscious
reaction.

No (this was BBC3!). I was sitting there watching it when it just popped up
the 'To watch live TV you must exit Live Pause' - and the last time I looked
I was about 10 minutes behind.

Was it Dr Who? :-)
