I have a feed from my Sky box in the lounge to my PC in my study. The problem is that those producing drivers for Vista latest assume you want
The feed comes via a coaxial cable from the second connector on the Sky
box. It used to go into an Hauppauge WinTV Express card on my PC and I
controlled it via a "Magic Eye". Worked very well indeed.
The problem is that the WinTV Express card is not fully Windows Vista
compatible so I upgraded to a WinTV Nova-T PCI card. I assumed like an
idiot it would be able to receive analogue TV as well as digital. When it
arrived however I realized it was a Freeview only receiver!
The coaxial cable from the Sky Box still goes into the card but I can only
view Freeview channels. Is there anyway I can access the analogue Sky
signal? Is there such a thing as an analogue to digital convertor?
the latest technology, i.e.digital TV, and don't bother with drivers for
their older analog kit.
Sell you card on Ebay and find an a new dual analog/digital card which has
Vista support.
