Fans of The Who at Who?

I think this season, someone is a fan of The Who:

New Earth: They saw a Specialist. The 'New Humans' evoked images of "See Me, Feel Me (Touch Me, Heal Me)". The IV bags were reminiscent of The Acid Queen's formulae.

Girl in the Fireplace: The Doctor restores Renette's sight (of him) by Smashing the Mirror and Love Reign's O'er him.

The Idiot's Lantern: A main character is named Tommy, there are people who are Deaf, Dumb and Blind. The Doctor rides a GS Scooter with his Hair Cut Neat (okay, maybe it wasn't a Vespa Gran Sportique but it was a Vespa). There wasn't any Wind and Sleet so we can't tell if he wore his Wartime Coat...

Impossible Planet Tardisode: Captain Walker is sent on a mission. Presumably he won't come back.

Ostensibly, a fair comparison could be made for Pink Floyd and other episodes of this season.
