Why does the audio keep going into reverse for a few seconds? Is this some
sort of copyright protection idea? Are all broadcast programmes going to be
doing this soon to force us to buy DVDs?
Why on earth would you want to by a DVD of a live performance, when you
can buy the polished, studio recorded version on CD (or download)?
Are you a tit? Away from the world of Kylie and Girls Aloud who sing
along to metronome paced backing tracks via autotune, there are bands
who actually play live and often play faster, better, rearranged,
extended versions of songs. Give me a live recording over a studio one
any day of the week,
I was introduced to Radiohead by downloading their live set on Jools
Holland in 2001 - the version of Paranoid Android is simply fantastic
and *far* better that the album as is virtually every song on that
setlist. That "album" is by far the most played on my MP3 player.
