"Oooooooo, look, some ones getting money." FFS. The usual British
obsession with people getting more money than them.

This has nothing to do with that (from my perspective at least).  It is to
do with a ruling class in an effective autonomy having their snouts more
firmly in the trough than even I believed possible.  


Stephen Fry hit the nail on the head.

Anyone can become an MP and cash in, if indeed that is what they do.

This is about the small and narrow-minded who because they have to get
by on whatever and show absolutely zero gumption to do anything about
it, think the whole f**king world should come and join them.

Of course, the very first opportunity for financial gain that comes
their way, well you know the story.

Thatcher called it the ‘politics of envy’ and she was right.

An American journalist of BBC News 24 just couldn’t believe the fuss,
“This would never happen in America and by the way doesn’t corruption
come cheap over here.”
