It's at the sicker end of the scale, and it relates to the activities of
the `Yorkshire Ripper', I believe. Or was that question rhetorical?
Isn't it supposed to refer to Steve Wright, the prostitute-killing truck
driver?
I'm not convinced Steve Wright had an HGV licence. He drove fork-lift
trucks, I thought, and had any number of casual jobs before that, and was a
steward on the QE2. I can find no reference to him being a `lorry driver'
other than in the article about the complaints against Clarkson. Anyone
else do better?

SAm.
The media love throwing around the term 'lorry driver' to
anyone who drives a small 3 tonne van/flatbed and upwards.
In the biz, it refers to drivers with a HGV/LGV license.
