Show-off! :)
It's very good so far but I'm being paranoid about burn-in.
I've got brightness and contrast almost down to zero at the moment.
If it's anything like my last-gen Viera, it'll get a lot of image
retention, but nothing will be permanant. Watch a footy match and
you'll be able to vaguely see the score for a good 5 minutes into half
time, but it will go. One thing that might frighten you is that images
need other images to make them go. So if you return to your TV one
evening and can see the ghost of last night's image there, then that
doesn't mean it's burned in, it'll go once the TV's been showing other
images for a few minutes.
I've heard about that happening with previous tellies. AIUI, the PX80 series
has an 11th generation panel, so as it's the latest one things are better, and
I've had no such problems, even after several hours of GTA4 in one go (where
the health meter remains onscreen all the time) and obviously with that Wright
Stuff accidental pause.
The only slightly odd thing I saw, early on, was during the snooker
championship where, about 3 times in total, a green ball being potted quickly
left a trail for a moment. There's been no snooker since but I've noticed
nothing like that anyway, and I presume it was from the TV settling in.
I still don't watch much BBC3, though, for a number of reasons :)
