I take it that's an admission that you don't actually do any charity
work yourself.


No it's not. I am rather particular about my privacy and only post
information I think cannot do me harm in the hands of others. At the end of
the day, it is pointless asking about this as I could lie through my teeth
about what I do and this would still be irrelevant to the original point.

I feel certain that you may, at some time in the past, have used this "ad
hominem" approach in usenet discussions.

Yet you neverthess feel yourself qualified to stand on the sidelines
and criticise others who wish honour those who do.

Possibly if Jill Brown's "Charidee Work" had been more highly publicised -
such that you knew all about it - you'd have then been complaining that
such
people only did it for the publicity in the first place.

We find ourselves here again, michael. I haven't ever mentioned my age. You
can probably infer it from many of my comments. It is also irrelevant.

I'm not sure if I'm winding you up, or you me. Either way this isn't going
to be resolved. I would rather agree to disagree on the subject and not get
into a pointless argument about this.
