Finally, a decent script for a change (thanks to Steven Moffat) and an
engaging episode, although nil points to the Sun's TV Guide's preview
for actually TELLING us the fate of two characters in it AND naming
them!
Shame about the announcer bawling away over the end credits about how
it was only an hour to go until Gaytime TV is on...
It's a Moffat script? I'm disappointed... because while the premise is
good the Doctor's being both an ass and a moron...
(only the tiniest spoilers)
Considering past episodes, his sudden 'no spoilers' and utter
confusion at meeting someone from his future (how thick is he?) seems
really weird. The pacing is badly off in some scenes, and a lot of
what's clearly meant to be moving or creepy just clunks.
There's a lot of good stuff there, but it's not coming together, to
me.
Alex Kingston's chubbed up.
Everyone knew that, that's why they wouldn't cast her on Desperate
Housewives. Ana-only, that lane. :)
