Well, I can see some printed letters on this one, but when I tried to
post to another, I didn't hear any numbers even with the PC speakers
on. Marvellous(!)

Neither do I.
I've just gone onto Google Groups as if to reply to a post and
all seems normal to me. It would be a pity if they went down this
route though, GG is a useful backup if ever my own news server
decides to play up but I sure wouldn't want to use it all the time!

It's still doing it. Total fucking pain in the arse.
