Doesnt logic say that option (c) is the most likey because if sarah connor was killed - then she wouldnt have given birth to john - and there would have been no adult john - so there would be no reason to send the terminator back in time .
None of the above. Terminator had detailed records of all the people and events that led to the creation of Skynet and Jon Conner's annoying human resistance army.
After killing Sarah Connor he would have walked into the Cyberdyne Systems building and said "Look I'm a fricking Terminator, do you want to know how I work?" (imagine Austrian accent)
He would then plug an RJ45 into his arse and allow them full access to his _Terminator_Files_ (accent again) and CPU designs.
The Terminator's new mission would be to protect Cyberdyne Systems from any threats, and ensure the smooth development of SkyNET. He would probably sit in on board meetings. This would advance the development of SkyNET by at least 10 years. More advanced and without an opposition leader the machines would have a whale of a time.
