The Bill

Why oh why do they do it? The coppers spot someone in the distance whom
they wish to arrest/speak to or otherwise get their hands on, so why do they
yell, from this great distance:

"Nasty person, I am PC Plodd and we want to talk to you"

And then Nasty person runs away! Can Plod catching him? No! He has far to
great a lead to catch him!

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

It happens too when Plodd goes to a door. They bang the door and yell. I
am PC Plodd etc....................

If they just knocked on the door nicely, perhaps someone would open the
door and say, hello, how can I help you.........................
