Only rule is: avoid Season 4 like the plague.
Not at all. The only problematic times are the second half of season 1
(because it was originally commissioned for just 13 episodes and then
got the green light for the remaining 11) and the second half of
season 6 (because it threw away everything it had built up and just
turned ***).
And after seeing the trailer for season 7, I'm hoping the writer's
strike has meant that they'll just scrap the episodes filmed so far,
forget that crap idea ever happened and start again.
Thanks chaps I`ll give it a whirl.
Another US show I`ve never actually seen is The Sopranos(sp?) although I`ve
heard a lot of praise for it. It`s the fact that these type of shows seem to
go on forever that puts me off.
I was watching NNReview the other night and there`s a new series called
Madmen (I think) which they all raved about so I might watch that one from
the beginning, if I remember, which I probably wont:-)
