How long before people start to think putting rubbish in your
neighbours wheelie bin is a good idea .
How about a solar powered wheelie bin alarm that has a rocker switch
on the lid of the wheelie bin .
Much like a car keyfob bleeper remote control , You could switch the
alarm on and off when putting your own rubbish in the bin .
But , When your neighbour tries to put their rubbish in your bin
late at night then the alarm would sound when activated by the
rocker switch .
Titter ye not :-)
Just think of the racket caused by car alarms that everyone ignores.
Now imagine the problem that would be caused by bin alarms.
Especially round our way as the local fox population have mastered the
art of knocking bins over. Not only do the bastards *** on the lawn ,
make a racket at 2 in the morning, they now raid our leftovers. Plus
think of the noise when the local sanitation operatives (formerly
binmen) empty the bins and set the alarms off.
Round our way that only happens once a month.
