Well, it seems that one of those unnoticed, potentially rumour-
sized, remnants of the BBC's Reith Era is long gone.

Yes, their parochial attitude to young artistes, the concern for
their health and well-being, that claustrophobic goo of congealed
sentiment for the winsome teens they once were, epitomised in
two words, one of which is "Fielding" and the other of which begins
with a "Y" and ends in "vette" (allegedly) is evaporated, subsumed
into the primordial ecotplasm.

Yes, despite the concerned protestations of the Fielder-Civil Senior
coterie, the BBC are <gasp> still buying Amy Winehouse's songs!

Now come on.

Naughty naughty BBC. How can you claim to be in this for the art?
for the artistry? for the music? How? Now?

ALL YOU ARE DOING IS FUELLING HER DOWNFALL INTO THE
DEGRADATION OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND ADDICTION!

I mean, you ask me, and I would consider that she's only really
got onto this <yawn> slippery slope we've seen so many times
when even Ski Sunday can't find a piste because Blakey-poos
is encouraging her.

But, no, according to his folks it's the BBC's fault for buying her
music.

I'd've thought the royalties would've given her independence from
him, but apparently not, they just give her money for him to waste
hoovering it up his nose and shooting it in his veins.
