OK, if you push the red button you can get rid of the banner but why
would I push the f**king button when I'm already f**king subscribing
and surely anyone who might be tempted to f**king subscribe can't see
the f**king banner precisely because they haven't f**king subscribed
yet.

Doesn't 'exit' get rid of it? Works for me on any Freeview red dots.
Then again, they timeout after a minute on my box
