The word 'Nazionist' is anti-Semitic *how*, exactly?
It conflates Zionism with Nazism in a supposedly "clever" way.
Which all Jews are entitled to find highly insulting given that
the Nazis killed six million of their number.
Regardless of the fact that not all Jews are even sympathetic
to the aspirations of Zionism, just as not all Jews even follow
the Jewish religion, any Jewish person is entitled to feel
insulted that someone should make "clever" use of the word
"nazis" in such a context.
Such insensitivity to the possible quite legitimate objection
of Jewish people to the use of such a term to describe any of
their number, and the offence caused, marks a person out not
simply as anti-semitic in this particular instance, but also
quite staggeringly ignorant and self-regarding.
....
It was directed
at Zionists, not Jews.
Now I'll ask you one last time: where and when
did I make an anti-Semitic comment?
....
Conflating Nazism with Zionism by way of "clever word play" can be
seen as deeply insulting by at least some Jewish people. And as such
a continued refusal to acknowledge this fact can be seen to amount
to crass Anti-Semitism.
....
Given that you are an academic - outed by your pal barker IIRC -
working in the field of Middle East studies I felt this to be a little
less than appropriate .
My profession has been common knowledge on Usenet for years: Barker
did not 'out' me - he simply revealed it to the likes of you, who may
not have known. And why, may I ask, is it less than appropriate to use
the term 'Nazionist'?
....

....
But it's all irrelevant any how - you went hammer and tongs at barker
for a week then he flipped you easily and boasted about it , next
moment you are grovelling on here doing barkers work for him. If you
had bothered to do the research you'd see barker is a net loon and now
you are known as barkers best buddy .
Rather Barker as a best buddy than a mendacious bully like you who
constantly evades the central issue: where and when did I make an anti-
Semitic remark?

Given you had to email him saying how sorry you were and what a lot of
pressure you were under at work it seems to me you have a very weak
and pathetic constitution.
The fact that I had the guts to admit that I'd emailed him seems to
tell a different story, I think.
Bit like a cheap card table.
Yes, we got the joke - Alan Hope's joke, by the way - the first time
round. Your endless repetition of it isn't going to make the joke
yours, you know, just as your endless attempts to evade my question
aren't going to detract from the fact that you're a mendacious bully
who can't, or won't, accept that he's so intellectually impoverished,
he can't tell the difference between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism.
So maybe you're right: you should stick to talking telly after all.
You're on much safer ground there.
Incidentally - and again this shows how incapable you are of rational
thought - who said that the dismantling of the Nazionist State of
Israel would mean that the Israelis living there would have to *go*
anywhere?
....
If Israel were the Nazionist State you claimed it to be, it might be
imagined that being as equally competant as the Germans in most things
they might have made a better job of exterminating the Palestinians
in the 50 odd years they've had to do the job, given that the Germans
managed to kill around 6 million Jews in only 4 years.
....
You don't really do joined-up thinking, do you?
Pot, kettle, black.
Although what I find interesting is why you take such objection to
being described as ant-Semitic at all.
Given that you haven't actually explained what you take the word to
mean, or what you find so objectionable about anti-semitism in the
first place.
