Black Wednesday 1992

Wouldn't it be a good idea for the new Labour leader at some stage
to remind voters that interest rates went from 10%to12%
and 15%all in one day?
Norman Lamont and the PM and possibly Ken Clarke were
huddled around radios trying to get financial information.
Conservative support fell from 43%to29%and is only just
recovering.
There was a documentary about it I think.
Perhaps that should be the new,New labour leader.
