1. You've been selective in your cull.
2. Most of those posts seek to end stalking.
3. You're an arse if you think that Plowman isn't stalking me in ABGF
but that I'm stalking him when he turns up there to talk off topic
nonsense.

You do not want certain people in the ghost fiction group but tough,
they are there, they are allowed to be there and they have as much right
as you to be there even if their interest is recent and/or made up.

No, certain other people do not want me there. Check your history. It's
why a couple of Yahoo groups were set up, so the likes of John Pelan et
al could set up book-buying pens which they controlled in order to
prevent their ghost products being discussed in an objective way.

The only people I do not want to see in a group dedicated to ghost
story fiction are those who know nothing about ghost story fiction, but
who troll the group just to get at me. Quite why you deem that
controversial is beyond me.

Alex Buell has just turned up there to post some nonsense about flies
and excrement. Any sane and reasonable person would argue that not only
is he being very childish, but that he is ruining the group for the
vast majority of other people, but clearly you would argue that Buell's
has a right to be there, and that his input is mature and positive.

You constantly and pathetically self-promote and when you or the
unfortunate Mr Oliver, are in your mind, maligned you scream conspiracy
and sycophancy.

I rather think others scream; I plod along and argue my case while many
others 'scream' hysterically.

I think that the publishing world is a pretty corrupt and nepotistic
business. There's nothing controversial about that, many believe that
it is. Hence the term 'the book mafia'. If you mistake this belief for
a paranoid conspiracy theory then not only do you not know me, but you
are making a very stupid and erroneous assumption.

You are entirely without humour or contribution and thus feel the
obsessive desire to malign others.

Au contraire, I have an excellent sense of humour. Back in the days
when I used to post humorous satires and pastiches in this group,
Messrs Thanatos and Plowman loudly applauded them. Alas I now have to
spend that same time in having to fend off obsessive stalkers.

You resort to calling people gay - how schoolyard is that ?.

No, I imply that there is something homo-erotic about bullying, which
is different. (I also argue that Coronation Street is camp, but that's
hardly controversial, is it?)

Go watch SEXY BEAST, THE KRAYS or PERFORMANCE. I think you'll find that
aggressive macho behaviour is often justifiably linked with repressed
homosexual leanings.

Admit it - you love all this or you wouldn't have spent probably 135 of
the 141 posts you have made in the last 9 days contributing to it.

Utter bollocks. If you think that I like having to repel the attention
of stalking trolls then you are an idiot. Proof of this lies in the
fact that for several months preceeding this current spate of conflict,
Plowman / Osc and Thanatos had given up stalking me, and what was my
reaction? I steered welll clear of them and ignored the sad bastards.

It was only when they resurrected their stalking campaign that I
reacted in kind. So for you to claim I enjoy the attention can be
easily dismissed.

It
cannot be that you are protecting your reputation, the only one you have
is for manic behaviour and childish name calling.

The only one among blinkered idiots like yourself, you mean. Elsewhere
I have a reputation as a promising writer and the publisher of some
excellent books. Furthermore, my genre knowledge is respected as is my
talent for unearthing very rare books.

I can think of only a
handful of posts over the last few years supporting you compared with
literally thousands telling your what a prat you are being.

Not only is this a gross exaggeration, but our friendship is still in
infancy; you haven't known me for years. Besides, being criticised by
an internet geek who talks shallow and inane nonsense most of the time
is not something I tend to worry about.

Usenet is a fertile-breeding ground for geeks; people who want to talk
seriously about matters that truly interest them go elsewhere to
specialist forums.

You must realise your own fallibility, you often leave threads when you
have been shown to be incorrect or bested in some other way.

No, I leave threads when I tire of them, or when I realise I'm dealing
with thickos who despite being told something ten times, still fail to
grasp the nettle.

You seem to have some sort of borderline obsessive personality, you do
not conduct yourself like a mature human being.

So says the man who trawls through "years" of my posts and who conceals
his own identity.

Besides, you know what they say about those who make internet
diagnosises of mental illness, don't you..........?

This is a genuine question which I doubt you will answer :

Is there ever a point where you realise that your behaviour is not
normal and perhaps the dozens of voices telling you this might actually
be correct, or is it just those in your head you listen to ?.

Well, you're wrong again, because I will: your question is garbled and
nonsensical.

However, if you mean will I ever take seriously the belief of some
unpleasant and mostly anonymous stalkers that I am mentally ill, just
because they say so in the context of wanting to win some silly and
unimportant argument, then the answer is quite definitely "no".

But don't take my word for it. You trot along to the doctor tomorrow
morning, armed with a print out of my posts along with a petition
signed by your various anonymous friends, and you ask him (or her) if
they will consider certifying me. Be sure to stress why you've reached
your disgnosis and remember to highlight any professional medical
credentials you might possess.

Be sure to come back here and tell us what happened. I think it might
turn out to be the post of the year.

PS. Here's an interesting person who more closely fits your projected
version of me. You might like to know that he's a good pal of John
Pelan's with whom you ally yourself.

(No, it wasn't authored by me.)

Faking cancer is perhaps the lowest tactic one can employ; but the
posts made by his fake oncologist Susan Anton must qualify as some of
the funniest and wackiest things ever to have appeared on usenet.
