Pool old Dennis Price reduced to such circumstances....worse, he went
on to make HORROR HOSPITAL which must surely qualify as one of the most
awful films ever made.

For me he was the star of Kind Hearts and Coronets and not Alec
Guinness.Price didn't get the credit he fully deserved and it was sad to see
him doing all those cheap horror film towards the end of his life!

I agree. He was a wonderfully subtle comic genius. The way that he
feigns surprise and agitation when bumping off Guiness in the potting
shed is superb.

I was astounded to learn that he was born just yards from where I used
to live. But what a terrible shame that his life fell apart when he was
outed as homosexual, and took to drink, only securing the ugliest of
roles. He died in the worst possible era. Had he died in the sixties he
would have been remembered as a genius who died young; had he survived
till the eighties or beyond, he would have landed some plum roles and
enjoyed a long autumn career.

I have a small number of stills and photos, one or two signed, which
feature Dennis Price and the gorgeous Joan Greenwood.
