Hells bells..., that is a stiff sentence isn't it?

This kind of caper happened at least twice in my last year at secondary
school, but maybe it makes a big difference to the sentence the
teacher's likely to receive if the lads are over 16.

AFAIK sexual activity between a teacher and pupil of 16 years was not a
criminal offence until recently. I think they introduced an offence of
sexual activity between a minor under 18 and a person in a position of
trust. I may well be wrong though.
