Yeah it would.
Some poor sod just trying to earn a few bob so as to feed his wife and
kids, and an ignorant slob like you has nothing better to do with your
time, than to spend ten minutes taking the piss and winding him up.
If taking the piss out of or being unpleasant to cold callers leads to
the whole TeleSales Industry (ahem) becoming less profitable and
therefore less common, then I'm in favour.
All that's necessary is to simply to put the phone down.
All that's necessary is for them not to ring in the first place,
surely?
I am on the TPS, but as it's been said in here, that's useless against
the people calling from abroad.
Only inadequates and bores enjoy taking the piss out of people
who have no option but to listen to them.
Why should I be harrassed in my own home by these people and not be
expected to harrass them back?
