So why are they so damned obstinate about

Anyway soccer's fucking boring. And if by the "rest of the world" you mean
Britain and a few colonies then OK.
Europe, South America, Middle east and Aisa, thats more than "a few
colonies"
More countries take baseball more
seriously than cricket,
Just Japan and Cuba
and take basketball more seriously than rugby.
Just Russia
