Re: Life on Mars - put a fucking spoiler warning instead of discussing it in the subject header!

Are you paying attention? It speculates, and because in this case it's
a show that I've followed avidly, I don't want to know anything about
it - facts, speculation, anything, until I've watched it.

In which case try to stay off the group long enough to avoid seeing
anything about it. It's been a popular programme for discussion on
here and it's inevitable that people are going to discuss it as soon
as it's finished and that some people don't always follow the required
Usenet "rules".

I only watched last night's programme last night because it was the
finale. Usually I leave it until later in the week, but there's no
reason why anyone in my position should have to avoid a whole
newsgroup. Avoid a signposted thread (with a spoiler warning) yes, but
a whole group?

Anyway, I'm sure you would have been speculating about the possible
ending yourself anyway even without ASL's "misdeed".

I wasn't intending to speculate at all. With entertaining dramas like
this and a number of others, I let the programme do the telling for me.
I don't try and second guess as I want to see what it has to offer.
