So if there is a risk, what is the "risk assessment"?

The risk assessment of working in a smoke filled environment is
that you are far more likely to get cancer, heart disease, eye
infections, and will die.

What about if you already smoke, as I would expect many, possibly
most, bar workers already do?

Why should a bar worker or fellow pub user have to "risk" an
unnecessary tokin that is as disgusting and as dangerous as
asbestos?

Who is forcing ANYBODY to take a job in a smokey bar? NOBODY is
forced to take these jobs.

Beg to differ, DAB. The jobs are low paid with anti-social hours
(not to mention the environment). The kids in your typical pub (if
it is like my nearest) do so to top up their student fees or
because they can't get something else.

It is minimum wage stuff.

No one works because they want to. People work, because you need
money in a western consumer society.

There is plenty of supermarket jobs going if they want them. NOBODY
is forced to work in bars.

What I find strange is the sudden recent concern about bar workers
health, grown adults who have chosen to work in a pub, yet there
seems to be little concern for the children who have no choice to
live in an environment where they're exposed to smoke.

So do you or don't you accept that smoking harms health? Here you seem
to, yet elsewhere in this thread you appear to be in denial.
