Really?? There's not really *anything* to set up. You install it
on the clients and stick a password into the config and then
include a desktop icon labelled 'click here to run REMOTE CONTROL'
or something (or you could even make it run at startup if you like
- there's an entry in the Start Menu to do that)

If someone needs help, tell them "OK, I'm going to connect to your
PC to troubleshoot: please double-click on REMOTE CONTROL..." (or if
you've set it to auto-run, then just connect straight away).

This is really easy, surely! :-)

There's nothing to 'learn' and I can't see that it really requires
any training.

From my point of view I can see a problem there straightaway. We
don't want to install stuff on clients' pcs, run into Admin right
issues etc etc. We may not even be visiting.

So in your current setup, you are able to remotely control your
clients' PCs *without* anything needing to be installed on them?
How's that work, then?

Dave.

It's a lite install - they have do download a very small program, run it and
that's it. Once the session is over the file is removed so I don't think it
creates anything lasting on the PC and there's no need for any
uninstallation procedure of the sort you might normally expect.
Far better than installing some sort of permanent client on the PC which
might give them grief later on.
