I've watched this all week and to be honest it all seemed so badly done -
all the hoo hah about getting the stuff together then its all a bit of a
damp squib. I heard a review of this before it started on R4 and they said
they were taking advantage of thick people etc . But to be honest I felt a
little sorry for them as they were essentially "nice" - I've seen every
episode of BB from the start and these folks were real nice compared to the
awful egotists on BB.
Every evening with jonny vaughan seemed a wasted opportunity , it seemed
they last heart /interest half way through. As Keri said - she's heart
broken - yes she's got the money and the visit to Russia but she wanted
wonderful memories of space etc . Now the poor girl may not be the brightest
button but she was pleasant enough and now all she has is a let down
feeling. They thought they would dine out on this story for the rest of
their lives , being interviewed etc - perhaps that is ego but now what have
they got?
If they had played this straight without the silliness on the simulator like
the dogs ashes then it would have been a better show but then the come down
would have been harder so perhaps the makers knew this wasn't such a good
idea?
