Not familiar with that Mac but I bought a wireless bridge for mine and just
plugged the ethernet cable into it - no drivers to install - it just worked
(as expected).
I use my mac as a music server and I control it exclusively from my xp
laptop using the free version of VNC - the only problem is that it requires
a client on the laptop as there's no java client built into the mac version.
linking to the mac through "my Network places" is a doddle and I can browse
just like I would shared folders on another PC - there's a bit of software
that I've just discovered today (http://www.hornware.com/sharepoints/) that
apparently lets you share usb drives etc plugged into the mac.
