Spooks

Hmmm, I think things are getting a bit seperate. The programme used to be
much more logical. Now there are plot holes you could drive an entire series
of 24 through!

Take for example last weeks ep (or this weeks if you watch BBC1). The
Russian guy had that bug scrambling device to stop MI5 etc from spying on
him. Yet apparently bog standard mobile phones still worked! Then last night
we had the scenario whereby they HAD to let the terrorist get to the point
where he was about to shoot the plane down so that they could find the
rocket launcher. I'm sure that a group of people scouring the area after
being closed off could have found the weapon quite easily. Besides which,
why was it hidden there anyway?

Next weeks episode looks like it could be the most controversial yet, and to
me it seems a bit inappropriate despite all the conspiracy theories that are
around. It is still one of the best UK series made, but I think the script
writers really need to tighten things up for the next series or else it
risks a slow painful decline.

Lastly, is our country being protected by only 4 or 5 people?! Surely MI5
has many more agents involved at that sort of level than the Spooks gang?!
