And it's precisely that shrugging of the shoulders, and a "Oh, well, I
I suppose that's just what we have to pay" attitude that's led to us
quite rightly being labelled "Rip Off Britain".

If Americans were being ripped off on the cost of petrol in the way
that we are, they'd *do* something about it. What do we do? Nothing.
We deserve everything we get.
