And there seen to be heavy hints as to how this is to be funded. Jim has
been saying repeatedly how much he likes Kenton, and asking questions
about his work and his life; and then Jim makes it clear that he has a
large amount of capital just sitting in a deposit account.

I quite like Kenton and don't really want to see him

Well, there you go, all sorted. Jim provides the finance and acts as
some sort of business partner, Leon becomes the day-to-day manager,
while Kenton .. oh I dunno, there must be some sort of front-man role he
can have. And they'll try to persuade Kathy to quit her job and take on
the catering, but if she has any sense she'll keep well out of it.

Didn't Nelson's Bar have someone called Shane who made a wicked quiche?

Who legged it with the cappuccino machine.
