I have NetXfer which works OK, but I wondered if you use something else.
I suspect you're getting a .ram file containing a link, rather than audio. If you "open" that file, it actually connects to the BBC and streams the audio to you in real time.
So, my follow-up question is - what do you open that .ram file with, to get an mp3 as output? Does Switch read that file and do the whole job?
