Yes, sorry for posting late about this. I had actually noticed this
Friday.

The naming scheme is now:

rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4fmcoyopa/radio_4_fm_-_WWW_HHMM.ra

Where WWW is the weekday in full (such as "monday") and HHMM is
before is the time the programme started.

I used to promote the old "rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/%3_%2.ra"; as
something people could remember and just type in to bypass any problems
with a programm not showing up on iPlayer or such. With the new scheme,
of course that's much harder. Well I guess I might be able to memorise
it, but typing it in is so much more of a nuisance too ... So stupid.

I have a batch file these days that I've just amended. Where I used to
open a command prompt and type "la r4 mon 1900" I now need to type in
the full weekday but that's still very "typeable". I realise though
that to make it into something worth publishing, I will have to make
it more robust - as it can assume the user is online, it probably
should do some web scraping, using either the iplayerconverter or
"http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes"; directly, to find out whatever naming
schemes is in current fashion at the BBC. Which means changing it
into an all-new programme written in JavaScript (to run via Windows
Scripting Host), and doing rather a lot of research, which I don't
really have the time for now. If anyone wishes to use the current,
non-foolproof, higher maintenance version, you can email me.
