Nick travels and keeps in touch with umra while he does so. He often tells us things that might have lost their impact if he waited till he got home and it's good to be kept in touch with the wider world. These posts are part of being Nick. Part of being Dave is sometimes to post links to things you've found amusing on the net. Both of these could be described as on topic in a group for the sort of people who might listen to The Archers. No time for details - there's a queue for this one computer -

Arrived at Entebbe, luggage burst out of the back of the microbus,
(only 21 people in a 14-seater so don't know why that happened - dead
bodies by the side of the road - Welcome to Uganda!
Up to Sipi Falls lodge - to see the waterfalls and Ian's project. Now
here at Bujigali near Jinja where I have been kayaking and swimming in
the White Nile - yay! Both at the same time - not so yay.
That's it! bye!

Why oh why would anyone who has gone on holiday bother with contacting anyone in the uk unless related to the body in the road?
