Yes - she probably didn't think Phil would touch it.
If this is in fact the plot, it's a lazy bit of SW-ing and doesn't ring
at all true.
Oh yes, and the rest of it was *far* too obvious to be true. I hope
Roof, Shula and Kathy have had stern words with their partners about the
state of their return and they apologise to Phil for not going to make
sure the place *was* tidy.

And just how bad can it have been to need two people? A lot of beer
cans, fine, into black bag for recyling. Some dishes and plates from the
4 mini casseroles and then a wok, chopping board and not much else. Even
if he was a bit tipsy and splashing stuff around, you can scour a kitchen
in an hour or so!

I was a bit confused about the whole thing. What time was it when Kenton
was cutting celery or rhubarb by torchlight? It's still light at 10pm hear
in cheltywotsit and that's south of ambridge! Whats more, Phil is able to
stay up and photograph stars, but still said he was too old to stay up for
a wokfest.

Maybe he doesn't drink quite so much beer before star gazing (in the
traditional sense anyway).
