At the end of April we will be taking a railway-based holiday in
Switzerland. We arrive at Chur on Wednesday April 30 and stay four
nights, then move to Brig for three more nights. Several of the days
have excursions already booked (to Poschiavo, Lucerne and Zermatt) but
there are two days, one in each location, when we have a free day. The
deal includes a Swiss Travel Pass for two people and we wondered if
Swiss-living umrats could suggest where we might best spend our time
from Chur and later Brig?
All suggestions welcome.

Well, there are umrats in Basel, Geneva and, er, Umbrella so you could visit
them. A day in Zürich is likely to be a day well spent (if you don't
already know what's in the Fraumünster I won't tell you so you can have the
same falling-over moment I had.) Montreux is worth a look.
