Yes, the haggling over percentages went too fast for me - or at least
the "done" stage. Though if they really thought, as they said
afterwards, that even 60% was more than they were expecting,
understandable.

I'd have haggled for the last 2/3% to make it a true 2/3, but then
that's just me.

don't trust the evil so and so one bit and he may yet have more
less helpful rabbits to produce. It's not that disimilar to the
Brookfield set up though is it where they are shareholders in the
Brookfield company?

I thought it all a bit fanciful.

I still think it's all too fast.

There is an obvious conflict between A/D and Brian, the latter
wanting to maximise profits, the former - if they don't desperately
need the money - seeing it in their best interests to invest in
stock, equipment, buildings etc to increase the longer term return.
And there are big questions as to how common overheads are treated.

Thirdly, following on from the last, where does capital for
investment come from?

Yes, there need to be things set rather more legally in stone.

Fourthly, what happens when market situations change and (a) Brian
sees that crops are making all the money, animals none, and wants to
change the operation, or (b) do. but Adam wants to grow corn instead
of deer?

keeping 100% of the profit. And we still don't seem to get the
realisation that he can rewrite his will at any time.

Yes, it definitely needs proofing against that - some formal legal
arrangement. Basically, the only way they could be sure is for the
three-way split to happen _now_ - and in a legally-binding way; sure,
some provision for keeping the whole thing together (with mutual
profit-sharing etc.), but just _hoping_ B. won't change his mind again
in the future is the sort of thing, after the current bad feeling, that
only a scriptwriter would countenance.
