Undoubtedly, but ignoring the problem isn't being helpful to
their customers.
there is, to first order, nothing that they can do[*]. sorbs is a
pile of cr*p, and it takes a company run by complete bozos, such as
tiscali, to use it.
I have BT Yahoo. There are many things about it that I dislike,
but its big plus point is a 95% effective spam filtering system.
and one of the ways they achieve this is by blacklisting other
servers. it's damnably difficult to get off their blacklists (they
have web pages inviting you to submit a request, but i've never seen
any sign that they work). so they're a nightmare to work with: my
constant advice to my users is that they *not* use yahoo, btinternet,
talk21 or any of the other aliases for the service, as a forwarding
destination.
[*] remember, sorbs will take money to remove a listing, and then
reinstate the listing the next day. they have no quality control of
the content of their listings -- if someone's a grudge against you,
they can have sorbs list your server by making false complaints.
