I'm amazed you think that. It's true there are dozens of the beasts
about, but none I've ever seen have borne much relationship to a proper
English pub. For a start most of them are Irish.

Switzerland has a rash of "Mr Pickwick" pubs, which claim to be
British or English - but not Irish - depending on which website you
visit. I note that the owners of the chain, also operate the "Papa
Joe's" (American), "Mister Wong" (Asian), and "Da Carlo" (Italian)
chains - amongst others - so I am confident that the experience at
each will be as authentic as possible. (Or as the accountants deem
necessary).
