VMWare[1] is your friend.

All my 98 only stuff[2] is already on VMWare images[3] ready for the
day the hardware gives up. Needless to say the there's also a firewall
(or two) in the path before you reach them.

2) except for Lego CyberMaster - I still can't get to use the VMWare
com port.
3) with licenses, installed before the support cut-off, and the last
security patches applied
