Yes, probably. But I can't really blame her. She's already been humiliated once, and has no wish to have it happen again on a grand scale. If Rory came to live with them, they would always have to explain to people that he was Brian's child from an adulterous relationship - she'd have no hope of ever putting it behind her. It's a lot to ask of anyone, particularly a grandmother who's recently been contemplating a comfortable retirement.
