Has anyone tried it? And have you ever done it abroad?
I'm going to Leftpondia in May/June and want to take my laptop to keep in
touch with things.
I have been to the States for hols a lot and there is free internet
access in every library in every town.
It is also not unusual to find an "office suite" with free internet
access in most decent hotels.
We have stayed in quite cheap, rather seedy motels and had free wi-fi
access. However, it will not go amiss to take an ethernet cable, just
in case.
If all else fails, Kinko ( a sort of American version of Prontoprint)
have cheap internet; but we have really not had to pay since years
ago. I would go for the library option if you don't get it free in
your hotel.
Where are you going? We are off to do "Gone with the Wind" in a couple
of weeks. I only hope Atlanta isn't still aflame!
