The last bit of the walk was round the ponds, where I saw a duck
family grouping. I'm pretty sure the brown ones are female and the
green and white,brightly-coloured ones are male, n'est-ce-pas? Well,
this group was one female and five males looking after seven very tiny
ducklings.
I wonder if it's like the dolphin groups I saw on tv a couple of days
ago. The dolphins trap a female and keep her as a sex toy. But
sometimes females allow many males to have sex with her because then
this protexts any baby, as they all refrain from harming it in case
it's theirs. Maybe the duck did the same thing.
Mallards are well known for gang rape and ducks are frequently drowned at
this time of year, they're just hanging around until they can tell the male
ducklings from the females :(

If I took a railway cutting, could I train it up a wall?
